The "Texas Room" at Bayou Bend mansion, the former home of philanthropist and collector Ima Hogg in Houston, Texas. Whereas other rooms in the home feature elegant classical furnishings, this room is far more informal and (Texas) thematic. Of special note is the c. 1885–95 rocking chair in the left corner, made from Texas steer horns and jaguar hide, attributed to Wenzel Friedrich. Original image from Carol M.
